Olet Placement

Olets are placed on existing piping components either directly, or by first placing a tap port, then placing an olet at the tap port location. The placement of olets without using a tap port usually consist of the following common steps:

Set the size and spec in the Standard Preferences dialog.
Select an option from the Olets gallery.
Note: If there is more than one record in the specification that meets the criteria, you are prompted to select a specific record from the Spec Record Selection dialog.
Define the component settings in the Place Component dialog.
Pick the component the olet is to be placed on.
Use the mouse to pick a specific point on the pipe component to place the olet.
Use the mouse to pick a rotation points for the olet.
